    and nutrition.
  • to build a stronger and more coherent view on food issues.
  • to collect, exchange and disseminate knowledge and experience in this  comprehensive field in Europe.
  • to make an appropriate linking to European producers and distributors on issues of food importance, particularly concerning safety, quality and novelty of solutions to satisfy consumers needs.
  • to make an appropriate linking to European policy makers regarding issues of food
importance, particularly concerning health, environment, technology and consumers issues.
  • to make an appropriate linking to European educators regarding relevant issues of food and nutrition.

The congress offers a stimulating five-day programme that is pan-European (including 44 European countries – from east to west, north to south) and comprehensive (covering all food systems - from farm to consumer).
