The key theme of the symposium is 'Quality of pig and pork products matching consumer and citizen demands'. The symposium will be structured around 3 parallel sessions with presentations highlighting scientifically areas and results from Q-PorkChains.

The symposium will be structured around 5 main topics with presentations highlighting scientifically areas and results from PathogenCombat.

2) Hygienic design in food processing

3) A Novel Strategy for Food Formulation, Food Preservation and Quantitative Risk Assessment

4) Monitoring food safety and prediction of food safety at time of consumption
