BACTO contribution in this project will be to perform inspections and cleaning validations of objects involved in practical tests. It will also be involved in developing new test methods for early detection of biofilm where a pathogenic bacteriological growth can start an infection of the product produced. Furthermore, the extensive experience acquired in Food Safety Management will be used in the project.

 

Key persons for PathogenCombat

Eigil Appel Pedersen (involved in WP11, WP13) is the founder of Bactoforce. He has 20 years of experience in hygienic design and food hygiene in general. The company has eleven years of experience in preventive inspections in the food industry. At the moment BACTO has contractual agreements with more than 100 individual companies in the food industry.

 

BACTO has furthermore developed documentation systems contributing with statistic showing the critical point for a cleaning. BACTO are accredited in accordance to the standard EN 45004, by DANAK under the authorisation no. 9036. BACTO has branches in Denmark, Germany and Sweden. Our quality system is certified in accordance to the ISO 9000 standard.
