Workshop PathogenCombat / NovelQ in Ljubljana, Slovenia November 2008

The joint PathogenCombat / NovelQ workshop in Ljubljana, Slovenia, was held in the frame of the First European Food Congress which focused on Food Protection, Nutrition and Healthy Consumers predominantly. This congress was supposed to strengthen the scientific and technological bases for the industry as well as to encourage European competitiveness in the international markets. This congress brought European expertise together to solve the problems which are currently occurring worldwide. The European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) organized the workshop within the frame of the First European Food Congress.

 

The joint PathogenCombat/ NovelQ workshop was held on the European Day (4th November, 2008) to present scientific results of the projects. The focus of the workshop was on “Networking in Europe in the Area of Hygienic Design in Novel Processing” and the state of the art in both projects was presented.

 

More than 100 professionals attended the joint PathogenCombat/ NovelQ workshop which proved to be a real success also in networking opportunities and future activities.
